On Saturday morning I woke up to find a Sweetest Day surprise outside my bedroom door.....Nick is such a thoughtful husband! He got me a gossip magazine (my guilty pleasure!), chocolates, wine and a card. The best part was he watched Macina while I slept in!! It was heaven. Later that afternoon we took Macina to a pumpkin patch nearby. They have gigantic pumpkins, a pumpkin-train ride, pony rides, a huge haystack maze with tunnels, tons of farm animals, religious statues...I could go on and on. It was really crowded. And really sunny (so Macina is squinting in all the pics :( _) and cold and windy. But I took her coat and hat off for a few pics. And she wasn't in a smiley mood so I planned to take her back during the week for better pictures. Later that night I had a Mom's Night Out at Tera's house. It was fun but I was home shortly after 10pm because I had to be up at 5:30am Sunday to work. While I was at work Nick took Macina to Ralphie's with his friends Rob and Eddie to drink beer and watch football....poor Macina!! He made his friends meet him at Ralphie's instead of Hooters because he didn't think he should take a baby there! So cute. Today (monday) I took Macina back to the pumpkin farm myself and managed to get a ton of great pictures, I will post about that soon!
