Today we went and bought our Christmas tree. Nick is very adamant that we always get a "real" tree. I prefer an artificial tree but he says this is one battle I will never win.....but I'm not giving up, we've only been married 4 and a 1/2 years!

she mostly just whined the whole time since she didn't have our undivided attention.....
that is, until she found the candy canes:

Once we put Macina to bed we had some holiday "fun" drinks around our christmas tree :)
